A bold new direction for visual media!? Well, not really. Television has been dying for years, and very, very slowly are the networks realizing that the future is in streaming television over the internet. They can keep their normal schedules, and all their advertising revenue, simply by streaming. Sure, computer geeks will find a way to record it, but the VCR killed off that excuse decades ago.
Comet Streams does not have the funding to provide original programming 24/7, but original programming there will be, as well as some public domain movies and television, and perhaps some viewer-submitted content. It will initially be advertisement free, but unfortunately that will not last, as revenue is important to keep Comet Streams running.
